A Bell That Unites Idaho: Kendall Auto Group Helps Launch the Idaho Liberty Bell Tour

For Kendall Auto Group, this project is especially meaningful because Idaho is home. It’s where many of our employees live, raise their families, serve their communities, and where Kendall Auto Group’s headquarters proudly calls home. Supporting the Idaho 250 Celebration and helping bring the Idaho Liberty Bell Tour to life is our way of honoring the state that has given so much to us. Through the donation and custom build of a specially designed truck, Kendall has partnered with state leaders and community organizations to ensure this historic symbol can safely travel to all 44 Idaho counties, giving communities across the Gem State the opportunity to experience a piece of our shared history. A special thank you goes to Reading Truck, whose expertise and craftsmanship helped design and build the custom truck that will carry the Liberty Bell across Idaho. Their partnership has been instrumental in creating a vehicle worthy of transporting such an important piece of our state’s history.

The Liberty Bell has been carefully re-forged and restored, preserving its legacy for future generations. Following its statewide tour, the bell will return to the steps of the Idaho State Capitol, where it will once again stand as a lasting symbol of freedom, unity, and the enduring spirit of Idaho. The tour officially begins during Boise’s Fourth of July celebration with the public unveiling of the Liberty Bell truck immediately following the Veterans Entrepreneur Alliance Pancake Breakfast and the annual Fourth of July Parade. The free community celebration continues on the Capitol steps and Cecil D. Andrus Park, where families from across Idaho are invited to gather in honor of America’s 250th anniversary.

For Kendall Auto Group, this project represents more than building a truck, it represents preserving Idaho’s heritage and creating opportunities for every community to participate in this historic milestone. From collaborating with state agencies and local partners to engineering a vehicle capable of safely transporting the Liberty Bell thousands of miles across Idaho, this project reflects the same spirit of service, partnership, and community that defines Kendall Cares.
